On August 24 - 28, an international archery tournament for the prizes of P.I.Klimuk was held in Brest, Republic of Belarus.
As reported by İdman.Biz, our national team successfully represented our country at the international tournament, which brought together 220 athletes from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Russian Federation, as well as the Republics of Tatarstan, Buryatia, and Sakha.
As part of the competition, Fatima Huseynli, a member of our national team, competed at a distance of 70 meters both in the U-21 individual event and as part of the adult women's team. Scoring 622 qualification points in the individual event, our athlete secured the silver medal.
The success continued in the team event, where our women's national team consisting of Yaylagul Ramazanova, Fatima Huseynli, and Lala Abdurahmanova achieved a decisive 5-3 victory over Russian archers in the final match, winning the tournament's bronze medal.
It should be noted that during the tournament, the national team was led by head coach Natig Fazilov and technical director Vladimer Lekveishvili.
