The Azerbaijani youth national team is participating in the Youth European Cup in archery.
From May 12 to 17, the first stage of the Youth European Cup in archery is taking place in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, with the Azerbaijani youth national team among the participants, Idman.biz reports.
Our team is represented by eight talented athletes: Fatima Huseynli, Sumayya Bedelli, Yagmur Gurbanli, Zahra Jarchili, Zahid Kazimzade, Nurlan Rahimli, Sardar Valiyev, and Islam Ismayilov. A total of 204 archers from 18 European countries are competing in the tournament, highlighting its importance on the international stage.
The opening ceremony and official training sessions were held on May 12. Today, the participants have started the qualification rounds, which will determine the top archers for the final matches.
