Ronaldo breaks silence after Portugal suspension

Cristiano Ronaldo has shared a new social media post following reports that the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has sanctioned him for leaving the national team's training camp without authorization.

As reported by İdman.Biz, citing Sport24, the Al-Nassr forward has reportedly been suspended from representing Portugal for 30 days and fined €255.

The disciplinary action reportedly stems from an incident on September 30, when Ronaldo left Portugal's squad in Copenhagen without permission ahead of a UEFA Nations League match against Denmark.

Shortly after the reports emerged, the Portuguese superstar posted several photographs on social media, accompanied by a brief caption.

"Working hard," Ronaldo wrote.

Although the 41-year-old did not directly address the reported punishment, the post attracted attention amid speculation surrounding his relationship with the national team.

Ronaldo remains one of the most influential figures in Portuguese football history, having captained his country to victory at UEFA Euro 2016 and the inaugural UEFA Nations League in 2019.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is also the all-time leading goalscorer in men's international football.

If confirmed, the reported suspension would temporarily rule Ronaldo out of international duty, although it would not affect his eligibility to represent Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.
