The clubs that get the most money from the transfer of football academy students have been revealed.
Idman.biz reports that CIES announced the teams that received the biggest profits at the expense of the academy in 2014-23.
The list is headed by Benfica. The Portuguese club earned 516 million euros from the transfer of 30 players. The second Ajax lags behind by 140 million.
It should be noted that Braga, the opponent of Qarabag in the European League playoffs, received 99 million euros during the reporting period. 95 million of it was earned in 2019-23.
