Young Czech biathlete Jan Vanya has tragically passed away.
According to Idman.biz, the 19-year-old athlete was hit by a car while riding his bicycle.
The incident occurred near the village of Krouna in the Pardubice Region.
Vanya, who had just finished his sports career, was scheduled to join the Czech national biathlon team for the new season.
