A new branch of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation has officially been established in Nakhchivan.
Idman.biz, citing Report, reports that the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan recently approved the registration of the newly created organization in the state registry.
The main goal of the new branch is to develop volleyball in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, following the strategic directions set by the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation. Organizational and structural matters are currently being addressed as part of the setup process.
The Nakhchivan Volleyball Federation, which had been operating since 2002, was dissolved in February 2025.
