The Brazilian Women's Volleyball Championship has officially started.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijan and Osasco player Polina Rahimova began the tournament with a 3:0 victory against Maringa. Although Polina didn’t start in the initial lineup, she entered the game later and contributed 5 points to her team's victory.
This marks Rahimova's second experience in the Brazilian championship, having previously played for Sesi Vôlei.
