Russian Olympic swimming champion Yuri Prisekin has passed away.
The announcement was made by the Russian Federation of Water Sports, Idman.biz reports.
The 63-year-old athlete’s cause of death has not been disclosed.
Prisekin won gold in the 4x200m freestyle relay at the 1980 Moscow Olympics as part of the USSR team.
