Cameroonian swimmer disqualified at Youth World Championships

Cameroonian swimmer Leonnel Messi Nguichie was disqualified at the Youth World Championships held in Otopeni, Romania.

The 14-year-old athlete was penalized in the 50-meter backstroke event for violating the starting procedure, Idman.biz reports.

The Youth World Championships feature girls aged 14–17 and boys aged 15–18.
