On the sixth day of the swimming competitions held in Berlin as part of the World University Summer Games in Germany, Azerbaijani athletes competed in four events.
According to special correspondent of Idman.biz in Germany, Fatima Alkaramova finished 44th out of 54 participants in the women's 50m freestyle with a time of 28.14 seconds.
Abdurrahman Rustamov competed in the men's 50m freestyle, finishing 50th out of 74 swimmers with a time of 23.94 seconds.
Nihad Yusibov placed 67th out of 74 participants in the men's 50m freestyle with a time of 26.48 seconds.
In the 4x200m freestyle relay, the Azerbaijani team finished 13th among 16 countries with a time of 7:49.41. The team consisted of Ramil Valizade (1:55.67), Rashad Alguliyev (1:59.19), Said Hamidov (1:57.79), and Abdurrahman Rustamov (1:56.76).
The swimming competitions of the World University Summer Games will conclude on July 23.
