The vertical race tournament “Flame Tower Run” (a race up skyscraper stairs) has been included in the official calendar of the international association for this sport (TWA).
Participants will have to climb 50 floors, Idman.biz reports.
The tournament, scheduled for September 27, has been given a factor of 160. In towerrunning, the “factor” refers to a number assigned to a race that reflects its level of difficulty and international significance. This figure affects the calculation of points in the World Cup. A higher factor indicates a more challenging and prestigious competition.
Thus, the “Flame Tower Run” has been classified as one of the most difficult races.
Registration for the race is already open.
