The lineup of star guests for the UFC tournament in Baku has been revealed.
According to information from the Baku City Circuit shared with Idman.biz, Merab Dvalishvili, the UFC Featherweight Champion from Georgia, and Belal Muhammad, former UFC Welterweight title contender from the USA, will attend the event in the capital.
The tournament is scheduled for June 21 at the Baku Crystal Hall. The main event of the night features a showdown between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jamahal Hill and former title challenger Khalil Rountree.
Another highly anticipated fight will see Azerbaijani fighter Rafael Fiziev face Chilean contender Ignacio Bahamondes in the lightweight division.
Additionally, Azerbaijan’s own Nazim Sadykhov and Tofiq Musayev will step into the octagon. Their opponents will be Brazilian Nicolas Motta and Kyrgyzstan’s Myktybek Orlokbay, respectively.
