A new karate club has officially been established in Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijan Karate Federation has announced the launch of the Khankendi Karate Club, marking a historic moment as it becomes the first such institution to open in the city after a 34-year break, Idman.biz reports.
The club, located on Azerbaijan’s recently liberated territory, will be led by Murad Samadzade, who will also serve as head coach.
This significant step aims to contribute to the development of sports in the region, promote national values, and support the healthy upbringing of local youth.
