Azerbaijan’s national karate team is on its way to Morocco to take part in the final stage of the Karate1 Premier League.
The tournament will take place in Rabat, the capital of Morocco.
The Azerbaijani squad includes six athletes: three-time world champion Irina Zaretska (68 kg), Nuran Rzazade and Huseyn Mammadli (both 67 kg), Farid Agayev and Rashid Suleymanov (both 75 kg), and Osman Osmanli (+84 kg).
A total of 383 athletes from 67 countries are expected to compete in the Rabat event.
The tournament, scheduled from May 30 to June 1, will determine the holders of the “Grand Winner” title in each weight category.
