Azerbaijan's most titled karateka, Olympic silver medalist Rafael Aghayev will participate in the Russia Open 2.0 international karate training camp to be held in Sochi on July 22-29, 2025.
Five-time world champion and eleven-time European champion will act as a kumite instructor at the camp, Idman.biz reports.
Aghayev's name was mentioned more often in the voting among the participants, and as a result, he was invited to the event.
Currently, Aghayev continues his sports career and is the welterweight champion in the Karate Combat league, where he has a 5-0 record.
