Members of the Azerbaijani national karate team have departed for Paris to take part in the qualification tournament scheduled for October 17–19.
According to Idman.Biz, the competition is organized to determine qualifiers for the upcoming World Championship.
The national team will represent Azerbaijan under the leadership of Rahman Hatamov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, and head coach Shahin Atamov.
It should be noted that athletes who perform successfully in the qualification stage will earn the right to compete at the World Championship, which will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from November 27 to 30.
