“Regardless of who the opponent is, we prepare seriously for the matches and approach them with responsibility. Because when we came here, we were given a clear task.”
This is what Adalat Alakbarov, who is making his debut in the Champions League with “Araz-Nakhchivan,” said in a statement to the press service of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation, Idman.biz reports.
The young futsal player noted that “Araz-Nakhchivan” must advance to the next stage: “We have prepared well for this. We have already collected maximum points in two matches. Both games were productive.”
Adalat Alakbarov also spoke about the atmosphere of making his debut in the Champions League: “I am one of the youngest members of the team. Our head coach constantly keeps me under observation. He has given me a chance in both games. The experience gained in such tournaments is invaluable. I try to use this opportunity both for the benefit of my team and for my own development. I feel the support of the team, and this is an irreplaceable motivation for a young futsal player.”
He also stressed that they are preparing seriously for the final match and will fight for victory: “We are currently at the top of the standings. Our opponent in tomorrow’s game has the same number of points as us. True, a draw would also satisfy us. But we will do everything possible to win and achieve the set goal. The home advantage and fan support will be on their side. However, in Baku we had very good training sessions both physically and tactically-technical. We saw the results of this in the last two games.”
“Araz-Nakhchivan,” competing in the UEFA Champions League, has collected maximum points from two matches and leads the standings. Tomorrow, our representative will face Austria’s champion club “Ljuti Krajisnici.” A draw would also be enough for the “Araz-Nakhchivan” in this match.
