Today, a meeting of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation was held.
The meeting discussed preparations for the new season and the list of teams that will participate in the Higher and First Leagues, Idman.biz reports.
Six teams will compete in the Higher League, while ten teams will take part in the First League. The Higher League season will consist of 4 rounds and 20 match days. In the First League, teams will face each other in a single round. The top 4 teams will then advance to the playoff stage.
Participants for the 2025-2026 season:
Higher League: “Araz-Nakhchivan”, “Neftchi IK”, “Baku Fire”, “Shusha MFK”, U-19, “Lankaran”.
First League: PFL, “Baku Fire-2”, “Khan-Lankaran-2”, “Star Cargo”, “Timsport”, “Atletico Baku”, “Trabzon-Azerbaijan”, “Ulduz”, “Dasta Ordubad”, “Yeni Surakhani”.
The Higher League season is set to begin on September 18.
