The futsal club Araz-Nakhchivan has strengthened its squad with U-19 national team member Adalat Alakbarov.

The young futsal player has signed a one-year contract.
The reigning Azerbaijani champions had earlier parted ways with national team player Rovshan Huseynli, who previously left Kazakhstan's Astana, as well as Mirza Amirov. The club also said goodbye to Amirhossein Rasouli, Roman Adamov, Mateus Henrique, Amir Shojaei, Nurlan Mammadov, Novruz Kazikhanov, Lazar Milosavljevic, Ali Guliyev, and Ali Rostami.
Meanwhile, the contracts of Gudrat Gasimzade, Khazar Aghalizade, Ulvi Aliyev, Giovanni Valerio, Carlos Bartola, Emin Kurdov, and Ali Hasanzade have been extended until the end of the next season.
The team, coached by Evgeniy Kuksevich, will represent Azerbaijan in the UEFA Champions League. In Group F, they will face Ljuti (Austria), PYF (Scotland), and Sparta (Northern Ireland).
The group matches will be held in Austria from August 26 to 31.
