Idman.biz reports that Teymur Eyvazov, head coach of the "Baku Fire" team, which participates in the Futsal High League, said this in an interview with the press service of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation.
The expert said that futsal players train 4 times a week in the gym to stay in shape: "In the last 9 games, we saw the points where we were weak. We plan to be more prepared after the break, and therefore we will have a training camp in Baku starting from the first days of January. The morale in the team is high, as we can see from the enthusiastic performance of the tasks given during the training sessions. One of the happy moments was that two of our players were invited to the Azerbaijan national team and participated in the matches against Romania and the Netherlands. We will try to increase this indicator gradually. Currently, we have played 1 game less than our main rivals. We want to win that match and spend the remaining matches of the championship at a high level, and finish this season where we want and deserve. We will try to strengthen our team. We will consider possible options, and if accepted, we will make transfers."
It should be noted that Baku Fire won the bronze medal in the High League last season and also won the Azerbaijan Cup. They are 7 points behind Araz-Nakhchivan who played one game less than their main rivals in the championship this season and headed to the winter break as leaders, and 5 points behind Neftchi SC, which is in the second place.
