This was stated by Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur ahead of the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix, reports Idman.biz citing Report news agency.
“The weekend in Baku is always challenging. Races are unpredictable and full of opportunities. That’s why it’s important to execute everything perfectly and stay focused,” Vasseur said.
He believes Ferrari is taking the upcoming race very seriously: “We understand that every detail matters in city circuit races. Our goal is to bring everything together and achieve strong results with both drivers.”
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix qualifying for the past four years.
Currently, Ferrari is second in the Constructors’ Championship (280 points), trailing McLaren (617 points). At the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, McLaren could officially secure the Constructors’ Championship victory.
In the drivers’ standings, Leclerc is fifth (163 points), and his teammate Lewis Hamilton is sixth (117 points).
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place from September 19 to 21.
