Idman.biz, citing Report, reports that Subhan Manafzade, manager of the construction department of the Baku City Circuit, said this to journalists during a media tour as part of preparations for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Formula 1.
He emphasized several updates: "We have completed 80 percent of the construction part in our area. We plan to start the overall track construction in August. Compared to previous years, this period has been reduced from 12 weeks to 6 weeks. We have tried to minimize the time to avoid disrupting traffic. In total, about 1500-1700 people have been involved in different fields."
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place from September 19 to 21.
