The reserve pitches at Baku Olympic Stadium (BOS) have been reopened for use by our clubs.
This was announced in a statement released by BOS, Idman.biz reports.
The major renovation works that began in May included the phased removal of the old turf, preparation of a new washed sand layer, renewal of the irrigation system, seeding, fertilizing, and other processes, all completed within a short period.
Some Premier League clubs based in the capital without their own training grounds used to hold their practice sessions on BOS’s reserve pitches. This process had been suspended for over a year due to important events held at BOS.
