"Sumgayit" may part ways with the foreign player whose contract was extended this summer.
Idman.biz, citing Sport24.az, reports that Easah Suliman, who suffered an injury at the start of last season, has still not joined team training.
Although the "Sumgayit" management hoped that the Pakistan international would contribute to the team this "football year", it seems that Easah has not recovered from his knee injury. A final decision regarding the Aston Villa academy graduate will be made in the coming days.
The 27-year-old centre-back, who has been playing for "Sumgayit" since 2023, extended his contract with the club in May this year until the summer of 2027.
