Jorge Jesus has described Cristiano Ronaldo, who will play under his management in Saudi Arabia, as a “global figure.”
The Portuguese coach was appointed this summer as head coach of Al-Nassr, the club that includes his famous compatriot, Idman.biz reports.
In an interview with RTP, Jesus said Ronaldo is a unique individual: “He’s 40 years old but still plays. Our perspectives outside football are very similar. I’m 70, but I don’t feel it mentally or physically.
Ronaldo is a global figure. In Portugal, we don’t know how to properly value him. He is a genius. The most famous person.
Cristiano’s fame goes far, far beyond football.”
