Stanislav Namasco: “Petrocub does not display consistent play”

Former Moldova national team goalkeeper Stanislav Namasco, who previously played for AZAL and Shamakhi in Azerbaijan, spoke about the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round matches between Petrocub (Moldova) and Sabah.

Idman.biz reports that the 38-year-old goalkeeper told AZERTAC that he does not closely follow the Moldovan championship: "I don’t fully know how Petrocub is playing currently. They changed head coaches several times last season. I think the team used to have good organization in their play. Now the club favors individual performances of certain players. Our representative does not show stable play."

Namasco said that Sabah is a well-organized team: "It will be a tough game. Sabah fights more fiercely at home. Both teams have a chance to advance."

The Petrokub – Sabah match will take place on July 24 at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau, starting at 21:00 Baku time. The return leg between the teams will be held on July 31 at the Bank Respublika Arena.
