Neftchi parts ways with another player.
Ismayil Zulfuqarly has bid farewell to Neftchi, Idman.biz reports.
The 24-year-old left-back announced his departure via social media, stating that he is leaving Neftchi after 14 years: “I’m parting ways with the Neftchi family, where I started in the academy in 2011 and moved to the first team in 2019, the club that made me Ismayil Zulfuqarly. It has always been a source of pride for me to be part of the Neftchi history. I’m grateful to the club’s management, my coaches, our fans, and all the staff who supported me during these years. Over these 14 years, I gained invaluable experience, countless memories, happiness, good friends, and coaches. Hopefully, we will meet again in the future. Always and everywhere, the greatest — Neftchi.”
Zulfuqarly spent last season on loan at Turan Tovuz.
