Portuguese national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo has announced that he will not play in the 2025 Club World Cup.
Earlier in the press there were reports that the 40-year-old Portuguese would sign a new contract with Al-Nasr and could move to Al-Hilal on loan to participate in the Club World Cup, Idman.biz reports.
Journalist Fabricio Romano reported Ronaldo's words on this subject: "Despite numerous invitations and offers, I have decided not to play in the Club World Cup. We have had many negotiations and communication... But we must consider and evaluate the short, medium and long-term perspectives."
Club World Cup will be held in the United States from June 14 to July 13.
