The Azerbaijani minifootball national team is fully focused on securing a win in their Round of 16 clash against Romania at the ongoing World Championship in Baku.
Speaking to Report, national team player Ramiz Chovdarov emphasized their determination:
“We’re stepping onto the pitch to win. Romania may be the reigning world champions, but we are prepared to show our game. Despite some changes in their squad—including a new goalkeeper and the absence of one key player—we don’t consider them weakened. Every player on their team performs well. Our goal is to win.”
Azerbaijan, who finished top of their group, will face Romania today at the National Gymnastics Arena. The match is scheduled to kick off at 20:30 local time.
