Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Xabi Alonso, who will become the club’s new head coach.
The reputable publication Marca has reported that the Royal Club will sign a three-year contract with the 43-year-old specialist, Idman.biz reports.
Currently managing Bayer Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso will also bring his assistant and fitness coach, Sebas Parrilla, with whom he has worked since 2018, to Madrid. Real’s current head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, will part ways with the club after the final match of the season on May 25.
Xabi Alonso played for Real Madrid as a footballer between 2009 and 2014.
