The top scorers in the international games of 2024 have been announced.
Idman.biz reports that continental club tournaments and those who scored at least 5 goals in the national team were included in the IFFHS table.
Only 14 players achieved this in the first three months of the year. The list is headed by Akram Afif, a football player of the Qatar national team and Al Sadd. He has 11 goals.
Aymen Hussein (Iraq, Al Quwa) is second with 8 goals. Mousa Al-Taamari (Jordan, Montpellier), who had the same number of distinctions, took the third place.
Qarabag player Yassin Benzia did not score one goal to enter the list. The midfielder has stood out 3 times in the Algerian national team and 1 time in the European Cup match in his club. If Benzia, who has 4 goals, could stand out even once, he would be on the IFFHS table.
Note that there are only two Europeans in the list. Michael Gregoritsch (Austria, Freiburg) and Fredrik Gulbrandsen (Norway, Molde), who scored 5 goals each, took place in the 14th place.
