Brazilian football player Dani Alves has paid the bail of 1 million euros required for his release from prison.

It took the athlete several days to collect this amount imposed by the Spanish court. This pledge has already been transferred to the court's account. The former defender of the Brazilian national team and Barcelona will be released soon after spending 14 months in prison.
It should be noted that on February 22, Alves was found guilty of sexual assault and sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. On March 20, the Spanish court heard his appeal and decided to release him from prison on bail of 1 million euros. Having to hand over both his Spanish and Brazilian passports, Dani must not leave the country and is obliged to go to court if necessary.
