Newly appointed Neftchi head coach Yuriy Vernydub has been actively getting to know the team over the past few days.
According to Idman.Biz, citing sport24.az, the Ukrainian specialist has spoken highly of the potential within the squad. Vernydub noted that a recent run of defeats has created psychological pressure inside the team, but stressed that he is satisfied with the players despite certain functional shortcomings.
The head coach also stated that the current squad is capable of achieving significant success in the future.
It is also reported that Yuriy Vernydub does not plan to exclude any player from the team at this stage.
