Spanish giants Real Madrid have placed Athletic Bilbao winger Niko Williams at the top of their transfer list.
According to Idman.Biz, the Madrid club is prepared to pay the €90 million (approximately 166 million AZN) release clause in the player’s contract. This move would only be activated if Vinicius Junior leaves the club.
Williams is regarded as one of La Liga’s most promising young forwards this season. Real Madrid’s management sees his pace, dribbling, and creative play as capable of filling the potential gap left by Vinicius.
While official negotiations have not yet started between the two clubs, it is reported that Real Madrid already has a plan in place.
