Manchester United forward Brian Mbemo has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for October, the league’s press service announced on X.
Idman.Biz reports that in October, Mbemo played three Premier League matches, scoring three goals and providing one assist. The Red Devils won all three games, defeating Sunderland (2–0), Liverpool (2–1), and Brighton (4–2).
Mbemo’s competitors for the award included Matty Cash (Aston Villa), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle United), Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Eli Junior Krupi (Bournemouth), Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland), Igor Thiago (Brentford), and Jurrien Timber (Arsenal).
Manchester United currently sits in eighth place in the Premier League standings, having collected 17 points from 10 matches.
