Idman.Biz reports, citing the Professional Football League’s official website, that 5,800 spectators attended the Turan Tovuz vs. Shamakhi match at Tovuz City Stadium.
The home team secured a 2-1 victory in their return to the local arena. This game set the record for the highest-attended match of the season so far.
Previously, the record was 3,500 spectators during the 5th-round Sumgayit vs. Neftchi match (0-2) at Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium.
