Former Real Madrid and Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas has fallen victim to a burglary.
According to Idman.Biz, a collection of expensive watches was stolen from the ex-footballer’s home in Madrid.
Spanish police have arrested a married couple on suspicion of stealing five luxury watches. The woman had worked for many years as a housekeeper in Casillas’s home, while her husband served as a security guard. The suspects have appeared in court.
It was reported that the couple replaced the original watches with replicas, and the theft was not discovered immediately. They dismantled the stolen watches and sold the parts separately, complicating efforts to recover them.
