Barcelona sporting director Deco has stated that the club does not plan to be active in the winter transfer market, reports Idman.Biz.
“We did everything we wanted and could during the summer window. Many players need time to return to full fitness. Signings in winter are not part of our plans,” the Portuguese official told Cadena Ser.
Currently, Barcelona sit second in the Spanish La Liga table with 22 points after nine rounds. Real Madrid lead the standings with 24 points from the same number of matches.
In the next round, the two teams will face each other in El Clasico.
