FIFA has fined the Armenian Football Federation 13,000 Swiss francs (approximately 27,200 AZN) for rule violations during matches against Portugal and Ireland.
Idman.biz, citing Armenian media, reports that 12,000 francs (around 25,500 AZN) of this amount is related to the team’s inappropriate behavior, breaches of discipline and security, and attempts by fans to enter the field during the match against Portugal.
The Portuguese Football Federation has received a warning, and Armenia will pay an additional 1,000 francs (approximately 2,100 AZN) for incidents that occurred during the match against Ireland.
