Qarabag has ranked among the top teams in ball recoveries during the first two matches of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
According to Idman.biz, the Azerbaijani club is in fourth place in this category.
Coached by Gurban Gurbanov, Qarabag successfully recovered the ball 87 times across two matches. Belgium’s Union club leads the category with 115 recoveries, followed by England’s Newcastle with 97 and Spain’s Athletic also with 97.
Qarabag defeated Benfica 3–2 in Portugal in the first round and Copenhagen 2–0 at home in Baku in the second round.
