A productive meeting focused on cooperation between the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Sports Organizations Association (AHITA) and the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation took place at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, initiated by AHITA.
The discussion covered a wide range of topics, including the development of cycling within trade union structures, engaging youth in sports, organizing joint events, implementing educational projects, and exploring future collaboration opportunities, Idman.biz reports.
Tural Gasimov, Director of AHITA, emphasized that cycling is not only a sport but also a vital tool for promoting a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle: “At AHITA, we consider joint projects with the federation extremely important.”
Fikret Huseynov, Vice President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, highlighted the significance of the meeting and expressed openness to ongoing cooperation with public organizations: “Our discussions with AHITA will help broaden the promotion of cycling in the future.”
