The International Chess Federation has published the rapid and blitz rankings as of November 1.
According to Idman.biz, the top-ranked Azerbaijani grandmaster in rapid chess is Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, who stands in 18th place with a rating of 2711. Teimour Radjabov follows in 35th place with a rating of 2670.
In the rapid category, Magnus Carlsen from Norway leads the rankings with a rating of 2825, while Ding Liren from China (2776) and Fabiano Caruana from the USA (2766) round out the top three.
In blitz chess, Mamedyarov is ranked 26th with a rating of 2705, and Radjabov is in 45th place with a rating of 2663. Two additional Azerbaijani players are in the top 100: Eltaj Safarli at 63rd (2644) and Rauf Mammadov at 70th (2629).
Magnus Carlsen also leads the blitz rankings with a rating of 2893, followed by Alireza Firouzja from France (2871) in second and Hikaru Nakamura from the USA (2860) in third.
