Advisor to the President of the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation, Samir Huseynov, and Board Member Rovshan Huseynov have met with coaches and referees of national teams across various age groups.
The meeting focused on the competitions our national teams have participated in since the beginning of the year, their performances, and upcoming tournaments, Idman.biz reports.
Coaching staff presented their reports, and it was decided to increase the number of competitions. The historic success and records of our school-age boxers at the European Championship were particularly emphasized. It was also noted that, to further develop youth boxing, the Azerbaijan Cup will be held for cadets starting this year.
Additionally, the international qualification of our referees and their participation in tournaments were discussed.
In conclusion, the necessary instructions and recommendations were given, with emphasis on creating the proper conditions to further increase success.
