On October 30, Belarus will host the Open Minsk Championship among junior boxers.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani national team will compete in the 5-day competition.
The head coach of the team, Vagif Kazimov, and his assistant coach Teymur Mammadov will be coaching in the tournament dedicated to the memory of Vladimir Botvinnik (52 kg). In the tournament, Subhan Babayev (54 kg), Nurlan Abishov (57 kg), Raul Asadullayev, Turgay Rahimli (both 60 kg), Kanan Aslanli (63 kg), Rza Rzayev (70 kg), Ali Mamishov (80 kg) and Muhammed Jafarov (+80 kg) will compete.
Nasreddin Mammadov will represent Azerbaijan in the competition as a judge.
It should be noted that Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other countries will also compete in the tournament, along with the home team and Azerbaijan.
