The Azerbaijan Beach Soccer Championship has come to an end.
VTB Bank were crowned national champions after a 7–4 victory over Marafon in the final round, Idman.biz reports.
Marafon finished the competition in second place, while Chinar Zangilan secured the bronze medal by defeating Dirchelish 5–4.
Elgun Abbasli of Chinar Zangilan became the tournament's top scorer with 13 goals. Elchin Gasimov (VTB Bank) was named the best goalkeeper, and Orkhan Mammadov (Marafon) was recognized as the tournament’s best player.
As champions, VTB Bank will represent Azerbaijan in the main round of the Euro Winners Cup, while silver medalists Marafon will compete in the Euro Challengers, which serves as a playoff round for the tournament.
