Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Monday following an injury sustained during a recent workout, the team confirmed.
Idman.biz, citing Reuters, reports that George has begun a rehabilitation program and will be re-evaluated before training camp.
The 34-year-old's first season in Philadelphia was marred by injuries. After hyperextending his knee in a preseason game, George battled lingering issues throughout the year, eventually ending his season in March after receiving injections in both his left adductor and knee. He played only 41 games in total.
The Sixers remain hopeful that George will return healthy ahead of the 2025–26 NBA season.
