This statement was made to Idman.biz by Sabah basketball player Michael Holton.
The American player shared his thoughts ahead of today's FIBA Europe Cup match in Baku against Sweden's Norrkoping club. Holton acknowledged the strength of their opponents, stating: "They defeated us in the Champions League. They’re a respectable team. However, with the games we've played, we've gained valuable experience. We’ve prepared better for this match and worked through all tactical details. We will perform better than in the first game, and we’ll give our all to beat Norrkoping."
Holton also called on fans to support the team: "They didn’t leave us alone in the first game, and their support was invaluable. We expect them to show up again today because we need their backing."
The Sabah vs. Norrkoping game will take place at the Baku Sports Palace, starting at 19:00.
