In his statement to the press of this country, the Russian specialist clarified the reason for his resignation from his post at the Baku club: "The team has had many victories. And now we have lost that game, the passion with which we go to every match. I thought that the change would be good for the club and for me. In this championship, the team is only 5 points behind the 3rd place. There is every reason to get into the European Cups and finish the season well. It was a difficult decision. But I thought it would be useful."
It should be noted that Musayev, who coached Sabah from October 30, 2021, resigned two days after the 1:7 defeat to Qarabag.
