Qarabağ have officially announced the transfer of goalkeeper Mateusz Kochalski to Polish club Wieczysta.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the Aghdam representative accepted the move after taking into account the offer from the Polish side and the player's wishes.
Negotiations between the clubs have been successfully concluded, and an agreement has been reached regarding the transfer of the 26-year-old goalkeeper.
Kochalski joined Qarabağ in the summer of 2024. During his time at the club, the Polish goalkeeper made 76 appearances.
He won the Azerbaijan championship with Qarabağ in the 2024/25 season. Kochalski also helped the team reach the UEFA Champions League knockout phase play-offs, where they competed for a place in the round of 16.
The goalkeeper recorded 40 saves in the competition, placing him among the top three players in that statistical category.
Qarabağ thanked Kochalski for his professionalism and contribution to the team's success during his time at the club and wished him the best in his future career.
