The U15, U17 and U20 European Beach Wrestling Championship kicks off tomorrow in Poreč, Croatia.
The two-day competition will begin with cadet bouts on the first day, followed by junior matches on the second day, Idman.biz reports.
Azerbaijan will be represented in the U17 age category. Under the guidance of head coach Oyan Nazariani, the national team includes Rashid Nazarov (60 kg), Aykhan Guliyev and Ruslan Valiyev (both 70 kg), and Nihad Suleymanli (80 kg), all aiming for top honors.
The matches will take place at Laguna Beach and begin at 12:00 PM Baku time. Group stage bouts will be held during the day session, while the medal matches are scheduled for 19:00.
International category I-S referee Sadi Guliyev will officiate at the championship.
